Rio Head

You'd think that just getting done being frustrated at a Jem-related drawing I wouldn't want to draw anything from it again for a while. I thought so, too. But, I was wrong. >_>

I didn't even really LIKE Rio as I was growing up, I preferred Riot, and most of the guys that Jem (or the other ladies) flirted with. But, looking at him, here, I can dig it!

I tried updating his look some, got the idea of the hairstyle from Tom Welling and, since he's supposed to be Greek I believe, I referenced the facial features of Kostas Martakis.

I used the Olive skin colors from 's chart: [link] for the skin, and found some people with purple dyed hair to pick colors out from.

Eventually, I'm considering doing pretty much all the men from Jem (the mains and all the ones Jem and the girls flirted with) like this, but I'm not sure. I'm not done with his body, but I was pleased with his face, so far.
